We are not only offering a backplane solution for 3.5", now there is a solution for 2.5" HDDs and SSDs. It can hold 4 HDDs with a maximum height of 15 mm.

An elaborated system
To prevent overheating of the HDDs and SSDs at full duty, the aluminium case provides a good heat dissipation and is a perfect match wit the two 40-mm Fans.

 

Fast transport

... is assure by SATA III and a SAS chipset. Due to Sata Power no extra powerline is needed for the Backplane. The status led can be switched off. If the HDDs fail or overheat there is an acoustic alarm signal.
